I thought of something else that could go with What if every season of the Yu-Gi-Oh anime actually use the real world rules. In the Duelist Kingdom Ark Pegasus could have it be a 1 dual tournament match if you lose the duel you lose how many star chips you bet. And he made multiple different versions of the same card that way they'll multiple blue eyes and there'd be no point for Seto Kaiba to rip up blue eyes but instead wanting to give it to his little brother that way if they ever tag team they could have all four to try to fuse them together to create even more powerful Fusion.

What if five of the same cards is allowed to be used and Seto Kaiba got his hands on five blue eyes white dragons. What could Seto Kaiba create using four blue eyes white dragons to fuse and five blue-eyed white dragons two fuse together.

I’d love to see how Yugi would use an Elemental Hero deck (with the same opponents he has in the normal anime). Maybe the final battle with the Pharaoh being Neo Spacians vs Elemental Heroes?

I think the best outcome would have been Yugi arriving in time to motivate Solomon during his duel, with the Heart of the Cards giving him Exodia
That way once Kaiba is defeated Atem could still have freed Kaiba from his darkness and with Pegasus still wanting to take the Millenium Puzzle from Yugi rather than Solomon it becomes a "If Yugi inherited the Blue Eyes White Dragon" story

And yes that does include Seto Kaiba and the dual with Grandpa Muto. Both of them having one win a piece before Yugi showed up and grandpa muto had to go to the hospital.

Hello, Mr. Multiversal Studios. I have some ideas for you.
    1) What if the three Legendary Knights had defeated Dartz before Dartz had been able to turn the three Legendary Knights into the three Legendary Dragons?
    2) What if the Crimson Dragon, the Legendary Signer, and the Signer Dragons had helped the people and Duel Monsters Spirits who had fought against the Great Leviathan and Dartz?
    3) What if the King of the Netherworld and all of the Earthbound Immortals had encountered and then fought against the Great Leviathan and Dartz before the Great Leviathan and Dartz would have fought against the three Legendary Knights?
    4) What if the three Egyptian Gods, the Blue-Eyes White Dragon, and Exodia the Forbidden One had teamed-up to fight against Zorc Necrophades?
    5) What if Atem had never disobeyed his father?
    6) What if Priest Seto's mother never died?
    7) What if Bandit King Bakura didn't survive the genocide of his people?
    8) What if Atem and Zorc Necrophades had killed each other instead of them having been Sealed away?
    9) What if Yugi, Joey, and Seto had gotten their hands on their respective Legendary Dragon during their respective childhoods?
    10) What if Yami Bakura had been permanently killed by the Reaper of the Cards or Pegasus during the Duelist Kingdom Saga?

Weevil probably wouldn't try the same trick on Solomon Muto due to the age difference and weevil's apparent intelligence. He'd most likely reason that an adult wouldn't fall for such a weak ploy and attempt theft, which would get him disqualified for the disruption/destruction of a Duelist's deck. Pegasus never liked bandit Keith stealing an important card from Joey so why would he tolerate weevil doing the same to one of his V.i.p duelists? He wouldn't especially if he wanted to use Solomon to get close to Yugi.

Grandpa has a good read on people. He would not let weevil touch exodia. Pegasus would find out about yugi puzzle because when you look into someone family is one of the biggest things and yugi is not hiding his item at all. I think Pegasus would send 2 invites. One for yugi and one for grandpa and take yugi's 3 friends souls (if possible) as leverage to insure they would show. My question is what is yugi's deck look like since grandpa is using his and yugi would have to use the deck he used at school with upgrades cause I am sure grandpa would let yugi use what ever card from his store yugi need to be tournament ready.

Solomon Muto was the descendant of the original wielder of exodia wasn't he? There's no reason he shouldn't have been the one to draw exodia and beat Kaiba in that case. The Pharaoh being the one to draw exodia makes zero sense as he isn't originally connected to that Ka. Plot armour in action, allowing an actual 'Screw the rules' moment in Kaiba's favour.

  • @JoeyVentura
    @JoeyVentura 3 месяца назад

I'd like to think that maybe Grandpa would have been a bit more weary to show exodia to weevil after his experience with kaiba. kaiba would have come up with a strategy to defeat exodia, discarding the limbs, but Grandpa would fuse his blue eyes with the head of exodia, giving it a special effect to overcome Ultimate. Maybe something that allows it to pull in other dragons to use in the place of the lost limbs, or bind other dragons the way that exodia was separating them into their respective pieces, and allowing him to overcome the separate blue eyes.

Third possible direction, Pegasus attempts to capture Yugi's soul to compel Solomon to go to duelist kingdom but the millennium puzzle counters the magic, being the most powerful millennium item. Pegasus loses interest in Solomon at this point, instead inviting Yugi to the kingdom in Solomon's place, to attempt to acquire the puzzle and things continue as expected with Atem using mind crush on Kaiba during an impromptu challenge by Seto on the island.(A new version of the original rematch at the duelist kingdom castle.) other than that outcomes remain unchanged. As long as mind crush occurs Seto Kaiba becomes a better person, so it doesn't matter when it happens just that that it does.

Do "what if Kaiba invented Synchro Summoning?" next.
He should invent this new summoning method prior to the Battle City tournament. Yugi and Joey will have to up their game in response to him giving birth to his new ace monster: Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon.

  • @therealsilverking4802

    Here's what will happen:
Pegasus would hear of Kaiba’s defeat just like he did in the cannon and would do research into Solomon Muto.
He would likely send out an invitation to meet him due to their shared interest in Ancient Egypt. After meeting him he would likely use his Millennium Eye to find out that his grandson is the holder of the Millennium Puzzle and would plot to acquire it.
His first instinct would be to try to buy it… but I doubt Solomon would be willing to steal it from Yugi to sell it. So Pegasus wold try to organize a duel in person with Yugi (using his interest in Duel Monsters as a crutch to encourage the encounter). It would start off as a fun friendly duel with Pegasus pretending to struggle.
Midway through the duel (while he has the advantage) he would use his thugs to threaten Solomon’s life to encourage Yugi to surrender his Millennium Puzzle. At this point the game would become a Shadow Game and Atem would come out of the Puzzle to finish the duel with Pegasus.
Pegasus would start dominating the duel using his Millennium Eye and the mind shuffle would be largely ineffective here because Yugi and Atem weren’t as close of friends at this point in the series. Also, Yugi wouldn’t have his grandfathers Deck, so he would be a lot weaker of a duellist.
Atem would be unable to win with Yugi’s base deck so he would lose and Pegasus wold take the Millennium Puzzle.
Solomon and Little Yugi would be allowed to live as Pegasus has no use for them and they would simply be sent home, possibly with compensation for the experience.
Pegasus would be hunted down by Bakura who would recognise his power due to having 2 Millennium Items and would back down for now.
Pegasus would be unable to attack Kaiba Corp with Seto Kaiba still present as the CEO, so he would simply continue to plot against him with the Big 5.
Bakura would keep an eye on this exchange.
Kaiba would still try to create the Duel Disk, and because he is still evil, he will be obsessed with getting his revenge on Solomon Muto. He will challenge Solomon again, just like he did the first time, except this time with the Frizbee Duel Disks, and would steal the Blue-Eyes White Dragon (which he would rip in half).
Solomon would be hospitalized and Yugi would take his deck to duel Kaiba… he would likely lose without Atem on his side, so, he gets hospitalised too.
Pegasus would hear of this defeat and would likely form some kind of publicity stunt using his “Friend” Solomon Muto to challenge Kaiba to a public Duel.
Kaiba would start losing business and as the current champion, he couldn’t afford to turn doen a challenge from the creator of the game.
Kaiba agrees and he duels against Pegasus with 2 Millennium Items… Atem would be unlikely to help Pegasus win, but Pegasus could win on his own using the Millennium Eye (Just like he did in the Cannon).
He would soul trap Kaiba and would steal Kaiba Corp very easily, using its resources to find the other Millennium Items.
Bakura would use his Millennium Ring to find the next nearest Millennium Item so that he could challenge Pegasus.
Ishizu would see all of this happening with her Millennium Necklace and would send an invitation to Solomon and Yugi to the Museum to see the “Big Rock”.
She would begin her exposition on the history of the Pharaoh and would try to help Yugi to challenge Pegasus again… insisting thqat he is important in the battle against evil.
Yugi insists on going after Pegasus t get his “Other Me” back.
Solomon gives his deck to Yugi to help him to win. Ishizu gives him Obelisk The Tormentor but tells him not to look at it until he duels Pegasus (to stop the Millennium Eye from seeing it).
Ishizu would easily avoid Bakura using her Future Sight ability, eventually causing Bakura to give up and take off after the second nearest Millennium Item, (Marik’s Millennium Rod).
Ishizu gives Yugi her Millennium Necklace as a bargaining chip against Pegasus.
Yugi wears the Necklace while he challenges Pegasus, allowing him to counter cheat against him. He demands that he release Kaiba (because he’s just that nice).
Pegasus would have the upper hand in the early duel, but that would quickly change when Yugi summons Obelisk The Tormentor (using Duellist Kingdom Rules (Still requires 3 tributes to summon, but it would be borderline unbeatable and Pegasus knows it). Pegasus would be heavily injured from duelling against an Egyptian God and would be weak for quite a while.
Yugi would win back his Millennium Puzzle and reunite with Atem.
Shadi would show up and test Yugi, he would find out that he is the “Chosen One” and would leave, just like he did in the Cannon).
Bakura would locate Marik and would suggest a team up to try to overtake Pegasus. Marik would tell him that he has no interest in Pegasus, but would quickly change his mind when he realises that Pegasus recently had the Millennium Puzzle.
Bakura and Marik would go to Pegasus, who would be extremely weak (probably bedridden). Bakura will challenge him to a game of Ancient Egyptian Lazer Beams and would pretty effortlessly take the Millennium Eye, but he would struggle to find the Millennium Puzzle.
Marik would accuse him of Lying about the Puzzle for his own personal reasons, but Bakura would quickly find a way to get out of it with his Millennium Ring.
The Millennium Ring would point towards footage of Yugi defeating Pegasus with Obelisk The Tormentor and The Millennium Necklace.
Pegasus would be dead, Industrial Illusions would be in ruins, Kaibacorp’s Big 5 Would be fired immediately and Kaiba would return to power quickly. He would find out that Yugi has defeated Pegasus with an absurdly powerful Duel Monster that he’s never even heard of (Obelisk), and would seek to duel Yugi to acquire it.
Yugi would give the Millennium Necklace back to Ishizu, who would pay a visit to Kaiba. She would tell Kaiba of Obelisk and would encourage him to start the battle city tournament for the chance of winning 2 other monsters that are just as if not more powerful than Yugi’s Egyptian God (Slifer The Sky Dragon and The Winged Dragon Of Ra).
Kaiba (being who he is) will try to find Slifer and Ra,
Marik and Bakura would plot to defeat Yugi.
Kaiba would effortlessly win in Battle City (because he doesn’t need an Egyptian God to win).
The finals of the Tournament would be Yugi, Marik, Bakura, Ishizu, Odeon, Strings and Kaiba.
Yugi would defeat Bakura with Obelisk
Odeon would defeat Strings (Taking Slifer)
Ishizu would defeat Marik (which makes sense because Marik would never have revealed his Evil Side).
Marik wouldn’t take this sitting down and would plot with Odeon and Bakura to take everything back.
The final 4 would be Yugi, Kaiba, Ishizu and Odeon. Ishizu would rig the game so that she duels Kaiba… and she has a method to defeat him (Blast Held By A Tribute).
Yugi duels Odeon first and wins Slifer The Sky Dragon.
Ishizu effortlessly defeats Kaiba (because Kaiba doesn’t have access to the Millennium Rod in this timeline).
In the final duel Ishizu instantly surrenders to Yugi, handing him back the 3 Egyptian Gods and also giving him her Millennium Necklace.
Bakura would duel and kill Marik and Odeon, taking the Millennium Rod, then start his endgame (The Ancient Egyptian RPG).
Bakura would visit Kaiba and would duel him just so that he could destroy Blue-Eyes White dragon with his Diabound. He then gives him the Millennium Eye to lure him to Egypt.
Bakura lures Yugi to Egypt. He travels there with Joey, Tea, Tristan, Ishizu and Shadi.
He starts the final game with Bakura.
He would play through Pharraoh Atem’s memories, and would probably pull through to the end. Ishizu, Joey, Tristan and The would try to help Yugi defeat Bakura nd get Atem’s name… but it is unlikely that he would have the tools required to read Atem’s name.
Ishizu would be able to reead Ancient Egyptian.
She would tell Yugi the Pharraoh’s name and would thus allow Atem to defeat Zork.
Atem would obtain all 7 millennium Items and would place them into the tablet…
He would progress towards the Ceremonial Duel and… unfortunately, Atem is borderline unbeatable.
He would win any duel against any opponent who challenges him.
Kaiba wants to be the one to challenge him, and Yugi probably lets him.
Atem would win the duel and wold be unable to pass on to the afterlife.

I would say that Kaiba would attack Grandpa after the match trying to steal the card and that’s when Yami mind crushes him (or can he only do that after defeating his opponent?). Furthermore, Grandpa takes such good care of his Blue Eyes card that he would probably take equally good care of his Exodia cards. If you insist, then have Weevil sneak into his room at night and steals them. Also, I think somehow, Yami would get invited to the tournament as well and eventually take over for Grandpa. Maybe Pegasus sees Yugi’s puzzle on the news.

I think Grandpa has the win here. If I remember right Kaiba got ultimate dragon from Pegasus to help in the Yugi rematch and it doesn’t seems like Pegasus would have motivation to help Kaiba in this timeline. Probably be more likely that Grandpa crashes blue eyes to blue eyes and monster reborns his own for the win but that’s my thought on it

Grandpa Moto was able to solve to the puzzle pharaoh tomb too.
So the kung-fu spirit is still in him.
I think Yugi soul would be trapped with Peagus and is left is the pharaoh. Without Yugi, The pharaoh would join out of duty like waking the dragon.
The story would possibly divide into Moto happy side and pharaoh serious duels
Moto vs Pharaoh taking Bandit Keith place because mind crush vs Mai vs Kaiba
Moto only hope would be the bond he with the pharaoh over the torment to protect him from the mind reading and access to the magic
    --------------------
    Fan fic bonus:
Grandpa vs Seto is like Tea vs Lillie, if Lillie were to win against Tea without using Tea’s Dark Magician Girl to show the power of friendship can beak through the mind control. XD

Another way Grandpa could take down BEUD would be to lure Kaiba into attacking his BEWD and trap it with Spellbinding Circle (also lowering BEUD to 3800 ATK). Then come Grandpa's turn he could do the Mystical Elf/Book of Secret Arts combo on BEWD (to 4100 ATK) and beat BEUD.

You made a mistake about Pegasus. In the original story he didn't care about the millennium items. That was a dub thing. In the original, he only wanted to beat Yugi, because the big five put it as a prerequisite to support his take over of Kaibacorp. They needed Yugi defeated so that the stock of the company would recover after falling down from Kaiba losing. So in this timeline he'd only care about Solomon.

    Gramps would win,
    How? At 100-4000, favor seto.
Seto would have the Ultimate Dragon on his field.
Gramps would have on his field the Blue Eyes(and some other monster, let’s say Celtic) thanks to reviling light delaying his end for a few turns. And he would have no cards in his hand.
He then draws the second most powerful card in gaming The Pot of Greed. He plays it to add two cards to his hand from the top of the deck. And gets some unknown card he sets facedown and summons the always reliable Time Wizard.
He uses time wizard(it is successful) and attacks directly using Celtic as to check for traps. Then finishes seto off using Blue Eyes.
